It is difficult to think we can go back to a normal life after what we just went through, although here we are, the worst is behind us. I hope you are all doing well, safe, and for those of you who were lucky enough to have time off, I hope you took that time to do things you have always wanted to do but never had the time to.
Perhaps, you have even considered a fresh start? New resolutions or at least adopting a new lifestyle, a back to basics? Maybe you took a step back and had time to analyse your ways of consuming?
This is why I would like to talk to you about what I know best. YOUR WARDROBE.
A lot of my clients know that one of the services I offer is Personal Shopping but most of them look at me baffled when I talk to them about Wardrobe Edit. I am going to walk you through it and explain to you its benefits.
Your wardrobe is an essential part of your daily life. When you open the door to your wardrobe in the morning, suffocated by an enormous amount of useless clothes, bought on a whim and not necessarily flattering for your body shape, how do you feel? Lost or overwhelmed? Do you have the feeling you have a lot of options but you don’t know how to pair them? Do you imagine yourself with a different style or would like to learn how to match your items?
Still a few more important questions to ask yourself…
When was the last time you wore that item, if you have ever worn it at all?
How sentimental is it?
Do you have anything to pair it with?
Is it comfortable to wear, a good quality material that lets your skin breathe?
Does it belong to your present style, or does it seem to belong to past fashion eras?
It is time to change your ways of thinking and your ways of buying.
WITH LESS CLOTHES IN YOUR WARDROBE, BY JUST KEEPING THE BEST ONES, YOU ARE EASILY GOING TO CREATE MORE OUTFITS!
You probably have little treasures in your wardrobe and you don’t even know are there, so it is time to only keep the necessary and a personal stylist will be with you every step of the way.
You will save time and energy in the morning with a selection and a mix of basics and strong pieces in your wardrobe. Your wardrobe should be filled with timeless items but also why not add a few items of the current fashion trend, tidied by colour, by season or even by categories. But above all, your clothes should be flattering for your body type and skin tone.
This may seem like an obstacle course to you because you may not know how to get started but for me it is just a breath of fresh air and I love doing it.
Also, why not think about giving away all the clothes you will no longer use or need to charity? Trust me, it will give you this little “I feel good about myself” vibe.
In short, you will save time by dressing yourself more rapidly in the morning and you will save money by correctly wearing the clothes you already have and with my guidance, only buying the clothes that you need and that flatter you.
A session of Personal Shopping or Online Styling can easily be added after your Wardrobe Edit.
I am here for you whatever your needs may be so don’t hesitate to contact me.
Stay safe xx
